Born in Freetown, he developed a unique musical style that blends traditional folk melodies with modern influences. Despite facing challenges due to his blindness, he pursued his passion for music and gained international recognition through his collaboration with U.S.-based Sierra Leonean producer Chief Boima. Together, they formed The Kondi Band, fusing traditional sounds with electronic beats in albums like Salone (2017) and We Famous (2021). His music preserves and modernizes Sierra Leonean folk traditions, bringing them to a global audience.
