Obverse: Israel Olorunfeh Cole, popularly known as Dr. Oloh, was a celebrated Sierra Leonean afropop and jazz musician, known for blending traditional Sierra Leonean music with contemporary sounds. Born on March 20, 1944, in Leicester, near Freetown, he led the Milo Jazz Band and gained widespread popularity in the 1970s through the early 1990s. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the Order of Rokel in 1989. Dr. Oloh passed away on October 13, 2007, but his influence on Sierra Leonean music endures.
