Obverse: The effigy of the Republic to the right of the silver core (inner disc) and passing through the gold ring (outer disc), positioned in this way, it constitutes one of the security features of the largest denomination coin. On the gold ring, a reference to Brazilian ethnic roots, represented by the graphic design found on indigenous ceramics of Marajoara origin, and the legend "Brazil".

Reverse: On the gold ring, a repetition of the indigenous Marajoara graphic design. On the silver core, a sphere superimposed by a jubilant band, which, with the constellation of the Southern Cross, alludes to the National Flag, and the inscriptions corresponding to the face value and the year of minting.
