The Wolf Park of Gévaudan, founded in 1961 by Gérard Ménatory, is an animal park located in Sainte-Lucie, near Marvejols, France. Initially designed for two Polish wolves, the park quickly expanded to accommodate a growing population of wolves. In 1991, it expanded its activities to include a scientific observation section, receiving poached Mongolian wolves. After Ménatory's death in 1998, his daughter Anne continued his commitment to the park. Led successively by Fabrice Tareau and Joseph Matera, the park continues to play a vital role in wolf conservation and awareness.
