25 Kuna of Croatia 1997 UNC - Admission to the UNO

Motif on the obverse: the core and the ring of the coin carry the emblem of the United Nations Organization, featuring a map of the world within the core, and a particularly distinct relief of the Republic of Croatia. The image within the core is framed by stylized olive branches placed within the ring of the coin. The inscriptions "REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA U O.U.N." and the date of admission of the Republic of Croatia to the UNO "22. V. 1992." are shown in two lines above the emblem. Placed centrally below the symbol along the lower edge of the coin is the minting year "1997".

Motif on the reverse: the central part of the coin core features the denomination numeral "25". The outlines of the number "25" reveal an image of a marten turned to the right, with the marten's body integrated with the denomination numeral. Positioned centrally at the lower part of the coin ring is the coat of arms of the Republic of Croatia, bordered at the left by a blooming laurel branch and at the right by a common oak branch with acorns. The upper part of the ring bears the inscription "REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA".
