This collector coin pays tribute to Lauri Kristian Relander (1883–1942), who was the second president of the Republic of Finland, holding office in 1925–1931.
The obverse of the coin bears a portrait of Lauri Kristian Relander. The reverse features a landscape of Finnish fields framing an open book depicting a constructed urban environment. The motif symbolises the president's mandate from the people. All coins in the series will share the same reverse. The collector coins are designed by Tero Lounas.
