The Dune du Pilat, also known as the Grande Dune du Pilat, is a sand formation located on the French Atlantic coast near the town of La Teste-de-Buch in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It is the highest sand dune in Europe, stretching approximately 500 meters wide, 2.7 kilometers long, and rising over 100 meters above sea level.
