Saint-Trophime Church is a Romanesque church located in Arles, in the Provence region of France. Built in the 12th century, it is dedicated to Saint Trophime, a first-century bishop of Arles. The church is renowned for its richly adorned facade, especially its Last Judgment portal, which is a masterpiece of Romanesque sculpture. The interior of the church is also decorated with sculpted capitals and frescoes. Adjacent to the church is a magnificent cloister surrounded by sculpted columns, considered one of the finest examples of Romanesque cloisters in France. Saint-Trophime Church is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list as part of the "Routes of Santiago de Compostela in France" due to its architectural significance and historical role as a starting point for pilgrims traveling to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
