The Royal Monastery of Brou is an architectural complex located in Bourg-en-Bresse, France. It was built in the early 16th century by Margaret of Austria in memory of her husband, Philibert the Handsome. The complex includes a magnificent Gothic flamboyant church, a cloister for meditation, and a mausoleum housing the tombs of Margaret, her husband, and her mother-in-law, Margaret of Bourbon. The site is a blend of Gothic and Renaissance architecture and is a historical monument open to the public, offering a unique cultural and historical experience for visitors interested in European art and history.
