Planet Ocean Montpellier is a leisure complex located in the Odysseum area of Montpellier. It includes an aquarium, formerly known as Mare Nostrum, and a planetarium, previously named Galilée. The aquarium opened on December 15, 2007. In April 2018, the management of both facilities merged to create Planet Ocean Montpellier, providing a combined experience of aquatic exploration and astronomy for visitors.
