The Château de Sully-sur-Loire is a castle located in Sully-sur-Loire, in the Loiret department of France. It was built in the late 14th century by Gilles de Sully. The castle underwent a Renaissance transformation, combining medieval defensive elements with elegant Renaissance architecture. It served as the residence of Maximilien de Béthune, Duke of Sully, a trusted advisor to King Henri IV. The castle is surrounded by beautiful gardens and landscaped parks. Today, it is open to the public and attracts numerous visitors.
