The Domerie d'Aubrac, also known as the Aubrac Hospital, is a former monastery located in the village of Aubrac, France. Founded between 1108 and 1125 by the Abbey of Conques, it evolved to become a significant political and economic player in the region. In addition to its religious role, it provided care for the sick and the needy and served as a major stop on the Way of St. James pilgrimage route to Compostela. During the French Revolution in 1791, the monks were dispossessed of their property, and the monastery was abandoned, with most of its buildings disappearing over the decades. Nevertheless, the Domerie d'Aubrac remains an important historical site, bearing witness to its rich history and significance in the region.
