The La Barben Animal Park, formerly known as the La Barben Zoo until the summer of 2021, is a zoological park located in the Bouches-du-Rhône region of France, situated between the cities of Salon-de-Provence and Aix-en-Provence. Founded in 1971 by André Pons, the owner of La Barben Castle, this animal park spans 33 hectares and houses over 700 animals representing 130 different species. Among the species showcased are tigers, lions, cheetahs, zebras, monkeys, leopards, antelopes, wolves, elephants, giraffes, anteaters, tapirs, hippos, rhinoceroses, birds, reptiles in vivariums, and more.
