The Lindwurm of Klagenfurt is a local folklore legend from Austria. It revolves around a mythical creature often depicted as a wingless dragon or a giant serpent. During the Middle Ages, this beast supposedly terrorized the region of Klagenfurt. According to the tale, brave knights eventually managed to slay the Lindwurm, and in commemoration of this feat, a statue was erected in the city center of Klagenfurt.
